About Tom

Tom Moore is in his first term as a member of the Rockville City Council.

Tom formerly served as chairman of Rockville’s Compensation Commission, as a member of the Executive Committee of Peerless Rockville’s Board of Directors, and as a member of the City’s Traffic and Transportation Commission.

As a citizen activist, Tom led the campaign to fully fund the cornerstone of Town Center’s first phase – Rockville Memorial Library – and build it on schedule. He has further served the City through his work with the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department as an ambulance commander; as a board member of the West End Citizens Association; and a member of the Town Center Action Team.

Tom is a 15-year Rockville resident and lives in Rockville’s West End. He is an attorney with the elder law firm Ron M. Landsman, P.A., in Rockville. He is a Georgetown Law honors graduate and, with the lovely Amy Gambrill, heads a household of six children, all of whom attend Montgomery County Public Schools: Alexander and Elsa at Beall; Ellie at Barnsley; Joey and Zoe at Julius West; and Katie at Richard Montgomery. Tom himself grew up in Montgomery County and is a K-12 MCPS graduate.
